An admission fee is charged and collected at the main show grounds entrance. All children 11 years old and younger will be admitted free. Everyone 12 years old and up will be charged $10 per person and will be fitted with a no-tear, waterproof wrist band to wear for the duration of their visit. Three-day bands can be purchased at the gate for $20.
If you are a current member of the association, be sure to bring your 2019 membership card. Present it at the gate and you will be given your three-day wrist band. No one over the age of 11 will be permitted on the show grounds without a wrist band!
If you would like to display items for exhibit during the weekend, please note that there is no charge for this. However, you must register your exhibit(s)! There are three ways to do this. First, simply fill out the Online Registration Form and click “Submit”. Second, print a hard copy of the Registration Form and mail the completed form to A.C. Threshermen, P.O. Box 333, Albert City, IA, 50510. Third, register at the show.
TO ENCOURAGE PRE-REGISTRATION: All who register their exhibits online or return a hard copy to the Threshermen Office by August 1, 2018 will receive a free coupon in their Pre-registration Packet for one cup of Threshermen’s homemade ice cream. (One coupon per entrant.) Pre-registration packets should be picked up in the Registration Office upon arrival at the show. If you are a current member of the association and already have a 2019 membership card (given at the 2018 show or at the 2018 annual meeting), please present that at the gate to gain free admittance to the show. If you are planning to pay for your 2019 membership before the 2019 show, your payment will need to be received in the Threshermen Office no later than August 1, 2019.
Membership monies received at the Registration Office during the 2019 show will be applied to the 2020 year. Membership monies received at the Annual Meeting in December 2019 will be applied to the 2020 year.
Membership rates are $25 for a single and $35 for a couple. This is a great value if you plan to attend the show all three days! Members are also invited to the annual meeting the first Saturday in December where a delicious catered meal is served before the business meeting. You'll also receive our yearly MAILING and SHOW POSTER each July, as well as our semi-annual newsletter in the SPRING and FALL to keep you informed on what we're up to.

A list of Area Lodging establishments has been gathered and put together for your convenience. Also available is a list of Local Campgrounds. Please contact the hotel/motel, bed and breakfast, and campground hosts directly.
Additional campgrounds: Laurens (10 miles), call city hall at 712-841-4526 for reservations; Pocahontas (20 miles), call Dan Murphy at 712-358-2320 for reservations; Fonda (20 miles) full hookups and three cabins, call 712-288-4466 for details.
Primitive campsites are available on the show grounds for $10 a night and reservations may be made before the show. (No camping is allowed in the main parking area.) If you have a generator, you will need to park along the north fence. Generators must be off by 10 p.m. - this will be strictly enforced. Please see the Campground Host upon arriving. You may want to fill out a Camper Registration Form beforehand. Campground Rules are available online, as well as at the campground. Golf cars are available to rent during the show. There is a charge of $120 per day for a 4-passenger golf car. They will be available from 7 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. and are located just northeast of the guest parking lot. Renters must be at least 18 years old and must have a valid drivers license. Reservations can be made in advance by calling: 712-664-2683.
Anyone wishing to use their own golf car on the show grounds must register it at the Gas Station and provide a valid handicap driving permit and a certificate of proof of recreational-use insurance. Only personal transportation vehicles with a steering wheel are allowed on the grounds and all must be registered. A handicap driving permit and certificate of proof of recreational-use insurance is also required.
Memberships to the Association are a great value! Your season pass is included with your annual dues! A couples membership is just $35 and includes two season passes. A single membership is just $25 and includes one season pass. For more details, click here.
We are a 501c(3) organization with the show operated by volunteers. Donations can be designated for specific areas, such as the land fund, or will go into the general operations fund. All donations are tax deductible.
