Case is 2025 Feature
The 2025 Threshermen & Collectors Show will feature J.I. Case. We will host the J.I. Case Heritage Foundation and the J.I Case Collectors Club for their summer shows.
Also participating will be Mid-Iowa Case Collectors, Northland Case Collectors, Heartland Case Collectors, Missouri Screamin’ Eagles, and Illinois J.I. Case Collectors..

150 HP Case
The 150 HP Case is the largest steam traction engine ever produced. Originally built in 1905, none of these engines survived—until Kory Anderson recreated it from scratch in 2018.
The 12-year journey captivated more than 10,000 followers on Facebook, with the project accumulating over 40 million views on YouTube and 200,000+ followers on TikTok. The 150 Case gained fame for incredible feats, including a legendary four-engine pull up a 13% grade hill in September 2019 at the Western Minnesota Steam Threshers Reunion (WMSTR) in Rollag, Minnesota, and a historic 50-bottom plow pull in Andover, South Dakota in 2022.
We are excited to announce that from August 8–10, 2025, Kory Anderson and the 150 Case will appear at the Albert City Threshermen & Collectors Show in Albert City, Iowa—the first time this remarkable machine will be seen in the state!

bill riley talent show
Our Bill Riley Talent Search competition event will be on Saturday, August 9th at 6 PM in the Entertainment Shelter at Albert City Threshermens. There are two divisions: Sprouts is age 2-12 and Seniors is age 13-21.
1st, 2nd, and 3rd place finishers in both age divisions will receive a cash prize, trophy, and a ribbon. The 1st place acts in both divisions will compete at the 2026 Bill Riley Talent Search competition at the Iowa State Fair in the same age group in which they qualified for at the Threshermens show. If the act has multiple individuals, the oldest individual in the act will dictate in which division the act will compete.
The act that qualifies for the 2026 competition at the Iowa State Fair must have the same performers as those who performed at Threshermens. The act may change their performance from the local competition to the state competition but CANNOT change the CLASS of their competition. (Ex: A vocal soloist may sing a different song at the State Fair than they sang at Threshermens but CANNOT perform a Vocal Solo at Threshermens and then perform a Gymnastics routine at the State Fair.)
Please call Ron Hott at 712-299-4402.
Event sponsored by Community State Bank.
