2014 Show Highlights

Featuring John Deere in 2014

In 2014, the Albert City Threshermen and Collectors featured John Deere and hosted the Northwest Iowa Two-Cylinder Club for their summer show. Show dates were August 8 through 10. There were 345 registered John Deere exhibits.

The club has a membership of about 125 John Deere enthusiasts from all around Iowa and surrounding states.
Plans are underway to turn the feature building into a 1950s-era John Deere dealership including bins, counters and a show room.

The last time they joined the show was 2008 when they brought over 200 exhibitors. For more information or to join the club, contact president Bob Neppl at 712-221-9211.

Zimmerman displayed 1936 A

The 1936 John Deere A belongs to Gerald Zimmerman and he exhibited it as one of the three Feature Tractors selected by the Northwest Iowa Two-Cylinder Club. Look for him during the 2014 show!

Eral Exhibited 1950 A

Adam Eral owns the 1950 John Deere A and it is one of the Feature Tractors selected by the Northwest Iowa Two-Cylinder Club. Adam has done a full restoration on the tractor.

Metcalf displayed New Generation 2510

John Metcalf is the owner of the John Deere 2510 that is part of the Feature Trio selected by the Northwest Iowa Two-Cylinder Club.

The reconstructed 1940 John Deere Model A Tanks A-1 and A-II Prototype were on display in the Feature Building. They are owned by Dr. Leo Milleman, Dr. Curtis Clark and Brian Anderson who reconstructed them in 2006.
